MEAL PROGRAM

Lunch is not served on Early Dismissal Days.

June Lunch Menu

June Breakfast Menu

Abby Kelley Foster Charter Public School offers all students nutritional meals daily. Children need healthy meals to learn and participate in school activities. Students may bring lunch and/or breakfast from home or purchase the meals from the school food services.

Currently, the school contracts with Preferred Meal Systems, Inc. to provide our students well balanced meals. Meals are pre-packaged and cooked at each campus. Preferred Meals, Inc. is a registered vendor with the National School Nutrition Program.

Menus are sent home at the beginning of each month. You may also view the menus in the Worcester Telegram and Gazette.

All families are required to complete and return a MEAL APPLICATION form (one per family) at the beginning of each school year. Families may be eligible for free or reduced meal prices based on income status. If for some reason there is an income change during the year, please notify Susan Reid at x 3641, as you may be eligible for free or reduced prices at that time. The meal application must be completed by all families regardless of income status and returned to the school.

If you should have any questions on the meal programs, please contact Diane Mikulski, Food Services Manager, at ext. 2635 or if you have any questions about eligibility for free and reduced meals, please contact Susan Reid, Enrollment Director at ext. 3641.
