Assessment Tests
All students are given the Stanford Achievement Test, Tenth Edition (SAT-10) in October to provide longitudinal data on individuals and groups. This allows the school to assess the effectiveness of the curriculum and make adjustments as needed.
As a public school our students are required to take and pass the MCAS (Massachusetts Comprehensive Assessment System). This year tests are scheduled for grades 3 - 10. Teachers supplement the regular curriculum with individually as well as commercially prepared materials designed to improve student performance on the test.
