Our Seniors are preparing for many memorable experiences as they complete their Abby Kelley Foster Charter Public School education. Being a part of Abby Kelley, for many since Kindergarten, has offered great opportunities for our students academically, musically, socially, theatrically, and athletically. We are so happy to have had this opportunity to watch these students grow!
The Senior Class Officers with the support of their Class Advisors and the High School, have planned out a series of events to celebrate the Class of 2022, here are the upcoming events* for our Seniors:
Jr./Sr. Prom- Friday, May 13 6:00-10:00 p.m. – The Beechwood Hotel 363 Plantation St., Worcester
Students should arrive no later than 7 p.m. and will be permitted to leave no earlier than 9:30 p.m.
Senior Final Exams – Wednesday, May 18- Tuesday, May 24
Exams will take place from 7:20-10:52 a.m. and Seniors should arrange for their own transportation from School on these days. Please note: Students will be notified if their final average is at a 90 or above in a class, that they do not need to take that final exam.
Cap and Gown Day – Tuesday, May 24 11:00-11:30 a.m. at Abby Kelley

Class/Culture Day – Wednesday, May 25
The entire High School Community (Grades 8-12) is invited to participate
Senior Awards Night – Thursday, May 26 6-7:30 p.m. at Abby Kelley

Senior Stroll – Friday, May 27
Members of the Senior Class will process back to the Elementary and Middle Schools, in their Cap and Gowns to mark their Graduation. Following this event the High School students will participate in a a farewell to the Seniors.
Graduation Rehearsal – Tuesday, May 31 9:00-11:00 a.m. at Abby Kelley

Graduation – Wednesday, June 1 – Mechanics Hall, 321 Main St., Worcester
Rehearsal 9:00-11:00 a.m.
At Mechanics Hall – MANDATORY FOR ALL SENIORS
Graduation Ceremony 6:00-7:00 p.m.
Seniors MUST report by 5:15 p.m. to Mechanics Hall with the Cap and Gown as well as any school approved awards/ropes to accompany their Gown. Each Senior will be allotted 10 tickets, should there be additional tickets available that will be communicated to students and their families. We continue to monitor COVID guidance from the City of Worcester and Mechanics Hall. Should there be information to share we will communicate that to Students, staff and families.
*All Seniors, in order to participate in these events, must continue to meet class and attendance requirements, must remain in good academic standing and follow all Abby Kelley guidelines within the Abby Kelley High School Parent/Student Handbook. Student are required to return all Abby Kelley issued materials and any student with an outstanding financial debt must take care of these matters prior to Graduation.
