Abby Kelley Foster Charter High School has initiated a 1:1 mobile device program for students and teachers in an effort to embrace 21st Century Skills. We will be continuing the program this year with members of our Junior and Senior IB Diploma Cohorts. Junior students will be using their Chromebooks in the classrooms and, after reading and returning the required agreement, they will be allowed to take their designated device home to continue school work. Mobile device use will be monitored by building level administration as well as district level administration to gauge use and effectiveness of the device in the classroom. iPad Mini & Chromebook devices are school district owned devices and the contents on these devices can be viewed at any time.
IB Students are expected to have their devices with them and a battery life that will get them through the entire day of school without needing to charge.
