Dear Abby Kelley Foster School Community,

It is with great excitement and a deep sense of purpose that I introduce myself as the new Principal of Abby Kelley Foster Middle School. I am honored to join a school community that is known for its strong reputation and commitment to student success.

As we begin this journey together, I am eager to meet and collaborate with our dedicated staff, our enthusiastic students, and the families and caregivers who are so vital to the work we do. I firmly believe that when we all work together—educators, families, and community partners—we can ensure the best possible outcomes for all students, in every aspect of school life.

I am committed to being a thoughtful and attentive listener as I learn all I can about the school, its strengths, and the hopes of those who call it home. My goal is to build on the school’s successes while working together to meet the evolving needs of our students.

I bring a personal and professional connection to the region to this role. I grew up in Worcester County and spent a decade living in the city of Worcester, where I developed a warm appreciation for the spirit of the city and the surrounding area. I am also a proud parent of a 17-year-old high school junior, which helps ground my work as an educator in the realities and hopes of our students’ families. I earned my undergraduate degree in Health Education from the University of Lowell and my Master’s in Educational Leadership from Worcester State University. I have had the privilege of serving as a teacher, athletic director, assistant principal, and principal during my gratifying career.
