Educational Foundation Mission Statement
The purpose of the Abby Kelley Foster Educational Foundation, Inc. is to enhance the general welfare of the Abby Kelley Foster Charter Public School by supporting the goals, purposes, and programs of the school and, to those ends, secure and raise money for, and dedicate and apply the same too, the support of any or all of the school’s educational and ancillary programs and activities.
Educational Foundation Support
The Educational Foundation bi-annually awards grants, with funds raised through donations and events such as our annual Golf Tournament, which faculty and staff apply for, in support of the Abby Kelley Foster Charter School’s mission to provide our students with an education that provides academic excellence, musical competence, and character formation. The Foundation supports (but is not limited to):
- Transportation costs for music students’ Performance Tours
- Educational and motivational speakers across the District
- Cultural programs for the District
- Student Leadership development programs
- Middle and High School athletic programs
- Classroom supplies and resources
